Design for the Environment...

We live in this world truly by design. Creating the everyday environment in which we choose to live involves our likes, preferences and habits in associating cultural meaning, visual communication, and the effective use of tools, technology and materials. Environmental Design, as a field of study, encompasses the natural, built, and human environments. It focuses on fashioning physical and social interventions that are informed by our own human behavior and environmental habits.

True design asks us to find answers to the most fundamental of human questions: how should we live in this world and what should inform our actions?

So... what does all this mean? It means that by doing a lot of listening with no preconceived ideas, I gather valuable insight and with that information, I create a surround that embraces who you are, what you do, and where you're going. Whatever I design for you, the piece will fit well for its intended purpose... no matter how large, no matter how small. I promise to give you the best of what good design truly has to offer.
